Juwelier Hupje was founded on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2016 by Judith de Hoog. Mother of three daughters.
She discovered that it wasn't just her girls who were looking for the most beautiful children's jewelry. Friends and mothers, grandmothers and aunts were also looking. Just a nice set. Or for the hard work on a new report. Or as a gift for a birthday, after obtaining a swimming diploma.
The choice was not so huge in 2016, so Judith decided to make designs herself. Based on what girls want. Unicorns, ice creams, princesses and also cool jewelry in a football theme or hockey theme. These designs had to be of high quality and made of 925 sterling silver. And affordable.
The collection was quickly expanded in 2017 with collections in 14 carat gold and surgical steel. There were also matching bracelets, necklaces and rings. With high-quality storage boxes, because that's what girls like.
The collection currently consists of more than 2,500 pieces of jewelry. In addition to Hupje fans in their own country, there are also lovely fans in Belgium, Germany, France and England. Nearly 60,000 fans follow the latest trends via the Facebook page, www.facebook.com/webshophupje .
