Returns

Not satisfied with your order or part of it? Please let us know within 14 days. You then have another 14 days to return the order or part of it to us.

How does registering a return work?
You send us an email that you want to return the order or part of it, we will then send you the cancellation/return form. If you complete this and return it to us, we will ensure that you can return the items. This way we can better support you during the return process. Please note: earrings and personalized (e.g. engraved) items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Watches can be returned, provided they are in the original packaging (including protective plastic, battery stopper). Please note: the return amount to be received does not include shipping costs. This is also stated in the general terms and conditions that you can read prior to your order.

Was your order received complete and undamaged? You will then receive the amount, including shipping costs, refunded to the account you used to pay within 14 days (excluding the shipping costs of the return costs and excluding the shipping costs of your 1st order).

The items must be returned in the original packaging, unworn and undamaged. The costs of returns are at your own expense. Hupje.com is not liable for lost returns. Unstamped or insufficiently stamped envelopes will not be accepted by Hupje.com, regardless of the reason for return. If you have received an incorrect order or if something is missing, Hupje.com will ensure that the correct products are sent. In that case, the shipping costs incurred will be reimbursed. Swimwear and earrings cannot be exchanged or returned for hygiene reasons. Shoes will be returned, but not exchanged.

Guarantee

Hupje.com uses the jewelers' usual warranty conditions.

1. Breakage of jewelry
Hupje.com gives a guarantee against breakage if this happens within 1 month of purchase. If an item breaks between 1 and 3 months, we will offer you a new piece of jewelry at cost price (50% discount).

- within 1 month of purchase: complete warranty
If there is a defect in the materials, this always occurs after a short wearing time. That is why Hupje.com offers a 1-month warranty against breakage . Will your jewelry break within this period? Send us an email: info@hupje.com (together with order number + photo), and you will receive a new piece of jewelry free of charge.

- 1 month to 3 months after purchase: partial warranty
Will your jewelry break between 1 and 3 months? Then you can receive a replacement product at cost price (50% discount). The cause of the breakage is not a factory defect, but is caused by incorrect use or wear (e.g. by playing, getting caught on something). Send an email to info@hupje.com (together with order number + photo) and we will solve it!

- after 3 months
Does your jewelry break 3 months after purchase? Then you are unfortunately not entitled to a warranty or replacement.

2. Breakage of items other than jewelry (e.g. temporary trend items)
Hupje.com gives a guarantee against breakage if this happens within 1 month of purchase. If an item breaks between 1 and 3 months, we will offer you a new (comparable) item at cost price (50% discount).

- within 1 month of purchase: complete warranty

Complaints
We recommend that you first report any complaints to us by emailing info@hupje.com. If this does not lead to a solution, it is possible to register your dispute for mediation via Stichting WebwinkelKeur. From February 15, 2016, it is also possible for consumers in the EU to register complaints via the ODR platform of the European Commission. This ODR platform can be found at http://ec.europa.eu/odr . If your complaint is not yet being processed elsewhere, you are free to file your complaint via the European Union platform.
